About the Journal

Staff and Educational Development International, a refereed international quarterly, published in January, May, and September each year, aims at providing a forum for debate, discussion and exchange of ideas, practices, and research on staff development, and innovations and change in education and training. It is a refereed international journal brought out by Network for Staff and Educational Development (NetSED), India.  The areas covered in the journal include: educational development; human resource development; corporate training; open learning and distance education; flexible, co-operative, experiential, multi-channel and blended learning; multimedia education and training; continuing and lifelong education; educational policy and practice; education and industry interface; accreditation, quality assurance, and quality management; management of innovation and change; research and development; and networking and collaboration.

The Network for Staff and Educational Development (NetSED), which sponsors the journal, is a voluntary non-profit making international forum committed to improve teaching, learning and training at all levels, and the quality of processes and products associated with these. It provides a forum for networking institutions, associations, federations, groups and individuals and their activities on staff training/development, and educational development, and thereby facilitates learning from each other. For these activities, NetSED, as a national representative, is a member of the International Consortium for Educational Development, UK. NetSED has a variety of interest areas and operations, including the improvement of the quality of teaching and learning within higher education and the quality of human resource development in education and industry.
